To request a new cross connect, open a Cross Connect Request and provide the following information:
- Carrier name (drop-down selection)
- Carrier meet-me panel & ports
- Note: The carrier Letter of Authorization (LoA) for any cross connect request should include both the meet-me panel details and the requested ports. This information is required for us to successfully connect tenants with their carriers. See the Internet Carriers article for a list of valid panels.
- Note: Carriers may need to provision a cross connect from their equipment to the Scott Data meet-me panel. This would be an additional request you need to make with the carrier.
- Cross connect source
- Note: This option only appears if Other is selected in the carrier drop-down.
- Customer Rack destination
- Circuit ID / cross connect ID
- Cable type (drop-down selection)
- Connector type (drop-down selection)
- Copy of Letter of Authorization (LOA) (required)
All of the information is required for the Scott Data team to start the work. Normal delivery timelines are up to 5 business days. Expidited requests are possible and may incur additional fees.
