How do I request a new support portal account?
Before requesting a new account, verify that you don't have an existing account by visiting support.scottdatacenter.com and attempting to reset password. If you don't receive an email in a few minutes, check your spam folder. If you don't have an existing account, you will not receive an password reset email and link.
To request a new account, send an email to support@scottdatacenter.com that includes the following:
- Your organization/business
- Your first and last name
- Your primary email address (This will be your username to log into the portal)
- Your primary phone number
Once this request is submitted and approved, you will receive follow-up instructions regarding your new account.
Existing users are able to request a new account on another user's behalf. To do so, provide the same information as requested above.
What are the password requirements for support portal accounts?
To maintain our high-level security standards, please follow these password requirements:
- Must not include the word "Zendesk"
- Must not resemble an email address
- Must include a number (0-9)
- Must include a special character (!, @, #, %, etc.)
- Must include uppercase and lowercase letters (a-z, A-Z)
- Must be at least 12 characters
- Must pass a data breach check
Users are allowed 5 attempts to enter a password before being locked out. Passwords can be reset at any time by clicking "Forgot password?" under the login prompt to receive a password reset link.

Request Authorization and Approvals
Support portal users can submit requests. Please be aware that certain request types require additional approval. These requests will be escalated to your organization's Service Authorizer or Badge Authorizer to confirm approval before work can begin.
