Who can submit badge requests?
Badge requests may only be submitted by badge authorizers chosen by your organization. Requests submitted without prior authorization will remain pending until a designated badge authorizer approves the request.
Please open a Service Request with us if you need to change your organization's assigned badge authorizers.
How do I request a new badge?
A new badge may be requested by opening an Access Management Request, selecting the New Badge request type, and providing the following cardholder information:
- Areas of access
- First and last name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Unique 4-digit PIN
- Note: PINs cannot be four identical digits (1111, 2222) or sequential digits (1234).
- Attached photo of the cardholder's face
- Note: The cardholder must not be wearing sunglasses, hats, or other items that obscure the cardholder's face.
- Note: Please submit the photo in JPG or PNG format. Other image formats will increase the processing time of the request.
- Note: Self-taken photos on mobile devices are acceptable, as long as they follow the criteria above.
We are unable to proceed with the badge creation until all required information is provided.
Once your request is submitted, please allow up to three business days for the badge to be completed. We will notify you when the badge available for pickup.
How do I replace a lost badge?
If a cardholder loses a badge, please submit a replacement request as quickly as possible by opening an Access Management Request, selecting the Replacement Badge request type, and providing the following cardholder information:
- First and last name

Once your request is submitted, it may take up to three business days for us to complete. The Scott Data team will notify you when the badge is complete and available for pickup.
The PIN for the new badge will remain the same. If the cardholder has data center access, the new badge will need to be re-enrolled for facial authentication.
For replacement badges, the four digit PIN will be the same. If the cardholder is enrolled for facial authetication for data center access, the user will need to re-enroll the new badge.
Where can badges be picked up?
Badges may be picked up at the Scott Technology Center Security Desk (6825 Pine Street, Omaha, NE 68106), Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CT. The new cardholder must pick up the badge in person, present a valid government-issued ID, and review and sign a badge acknowledgment form.
How do I deactivate a badge?
The deactivation of a badge may be requested by opening an Access Management Request under the Terminate / Deactivate request type and providing the cardholder's first and last name.
If you would like the badge to be deactivated on a specific date or at a specific time, please add these details to the request description.
How do I review who has physical access?
Scott Data conducts an annual badge audit by providing your organization's designated badge authorizer(s) with a list of current cardholders. To remove cardholders, update names, or add new users, please submit the requested changes through a support ticket.
This list may also be requested at any time throughout the year by your organization's designated badge authorizers by submitting a Service Request with us.
